Tony Waters

Tony Waters has a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications and has been BBC trained as an audio and video engineer. He has been in the satellite, cable, broadcast and telecommunication industry for 22 years.

Tony has worked for major US, UK, European and Australian corporations and small/medium businesses. These include; BBC, US West, Scientific Atlanta , United Artists, Telewest, NTL, ABC and Channel 9.

Having held senior management, technical and business positions he has led projects, technology and business developments from early MPEG to IPTV, cable modem, HFC, VoIP, VSAT and wireless products to deliver converged solutions.

Tony started Avonline Broadband ( UK division of a major integrator in the cable industry), where over three years it became a leading provider of satellite broadband and wireless services in the UK . Avonline supply Sony, London Stock Exchange, Merrill Lynch, Microsoft and Toshiba with rural internet access in the UK and Europe .
